Bethany Plans Missions Trip to Kentucky
We call them, "Work and Witness Trips." A group of adults and teens traveling to Beattyville, KY to assist churches in the very economically depressed area in their ministry to the poor. We will be doing roofing, putting in windows, and other construction jobs to help poor familes. It's hard work, heart wrenching, and one of the most meaningful experiences of your life. Teh trip is planned for July 13th - 19th, but Leaders will need ot know soon if you are interested in going. Questions can be directed to Dick Schroy (717)362-6994 or Freda Herr (717)865-6993.

Bethany hits the roof!
For around the twelvth time in eight years our "Barnabus" Team is recruiting volenteers to put a roof on. It's not quite an amish barn raising, but think of it in the same way. A couple of times a summer, we hear of someone that needs to have a roof put on their house. They might be from our church or just a friend in need. We can usually save them some money and serve each other at the same time. If you're interested in helping out with the latest project happening on June 6th and 7th, contact the church office. |
